Cocaine Engagements.

When you see a man snorting a line of coke from on a book cover you pay attention, when the book delivers a detailed roadmap on building quality engagement without the narcotic, you get why Ed Latimore says Engagement Is The New Cocaine!

It’s not all Machiavellian tactics because he does make sure you know that there are certain lines that can’t be crossed, but goes into how to get very, very close!

His methods often rely on exploiting the flaws in human perception and exploiting logical fallacies to keep you involved, like any tool of great power, the question becomes: Can we use what may be an unethical methodology of engagement to spread ethical information?

Words are my element, long, beautiful words that show you the small details of my mind and enable to share millions of words that people all over the world enjoy on my website.

I’m terrible at “Social Media”. Twitter is a tool that I use, though not to its full potential, to share links to my articles. When people click and read what I wrote, they engage with me and I make meaningful connections with them. However, choosing the right words to sum up a longform article is difficult.

Because I talk a lot.

Thus, Twitter handicaps my ability to give you the full depth and breadth of scope to what I bring to the table!

What woke me up was seeing how Ed uses my own words to engage people and show me how many more people can enjoy my writing if I can give them a short, concise reason to look.

Look at what I said about my “One Square King, One Square Kingdom” writing.

Now compare that with how he picked different words from the same article and made more engagements, faster.

What a difference!

I formatted the following tweets based on his formula for writing:

Then I started improvising!

Full disclosure, when Ed gifted me a copy of the book my tweets got a lot better! To be clear, I saw an increase in Likes, Retweets, and Comments as a direct result of what he showed me.  Nothing huge, but absolutely noticeable in the first 24 hours.

As I get more refined, my tweets will get better!

No, I wasn’t paid to write a review, or market his book.

It’ll buy me coffee to fuel my mind while I write!
