Right now we are delving into a classic! Dale Carnegie wrote “How to Win Friends and Influence People”.
It’s a book that was something more than one of my mentors read and reviewed with me, as well as something I’ve seen on the bookshelf of every successful businessman I have ever done business with, and on the coffee table of every social butterfly I’ve ever befriended. Still, interestingly enough, it’s spoken of with hushed and whispered voices. So much so, that the people I am discussing the book with elected to keep it Sub Rosa, but I am here to lift the veil! ->
I shared one of the ways that I make myself valuable to people with someone who came to me for advice on how to build his reputation. For the price of one stamp, to deliver a simple letter, I’ve been able to consistently make myself of one of the people that you want to have around, be a friend to, and do business with.
This was passed down to me by one of my mentors, now it’s something that I pass down to the men that I mentor. I didn’t invent this, but I am very, very good at it!
