The topics change every session, but my first
PD (Philosophy Dinner), that has been renamed with a more inclusive title of Meaningful Discussions was in Shanghai, China and the topic was Death And Transcendence. I sat down at a table with a diverse group of people from around the world and really dug into the nooks and crannies of our thoughts.
From to The Travel Guru to D.L. Hughley to Zane, Tanai and her family have been blazing trails all over the internet and the world! We had a bread time talking about all of the things that went into her decision to take her children on a global adventure. We also spent time digging into the more precious, and deeper areas of the life she has now, and the life she was once resigned to.
I first heard about Mandisa Lateefah Thomas during a CNN segment called Confessions Of A Black Atheist. Today she was featured in the CBS segment Openly Secular, http://www.cbsnews.com/common/video/cbsnews_video.swf. Turns out, Mandisa is the founder and President of Black Nonbelievers, Inc. She also serves on the boards for Foundation Beyond Belief and the Secular Coalition for America. I decided that she and I needed to have a chat!
